To borrow resources from the Learning Center you will need your student ID card. The card will have been issued to you soon after having started at college. If you do not have a card, please come and speak to a member of staff at the library helpdesk.

How many items can you borrow? – Students can borrow up to 8 items and staff can borrow up to 10 items.

How long can you keep the items for?- Standard loans are issued for three weeks, short loans for one week and some books are ‘overnight’ loans and must be returned the next day. The book will have a label on so you know which loan type you are taking out.

You can borrow, return and renew the resources using the self issue machines which are available for use on each floor. You can choose to print a receipt to keep a record of your transaction.

Reserving – You can reserve any library resource that is  out on loan – just complete a reservation card at one of the library helpdesks.
