Accessing eResources
Use the sections below for links to journals, databases or eBooks related to your subject. The link to each resource also includes login information.

JSTOR
A digital library that gives you access to more than 10 million academic journal articles, books, and primary sources on a wide range of subjects. The available journals include the ‘Educational Theatre Journal’, ‘The Drama Review’, and the ‘Performing Arts Journal’, with topics including acting, theatre directing, theatre companies, narrative etc. |
Within college click on the title of the resource and it will open in a new tab. For access outside of college click on the title of the resource and then click the link ‘Log in through your library’, which can be found at the top of the web page. In the box ‘Search by Institution Name’ type in ‘Aquinas’ and click the ‘Search’ button. In the list of institutions click the ‘Log in’ link next to ‘Aquinas Sixth Form College, UK’. Enter the login details you use when logging into the computers in college. Remember to add @aquinas.ac.uk to your username. |
Digital Theatre Plus
The platform gives you access to over 300 classic, contemporary and international productions, with many exclusive to Digital Theatre Plus. Over 230 exclusive interviews exploring the dramatic, technical theatre-making process, as well as experimental, post-dramatic and applied theatre, and over 100 essays, documentaries, lectures, and study guides, covering theatre history, context, language analysis, encyclopedia entries, and practical techniques. |
Click on the title of the resource to open it in a new tab. If you are accessing Digital Theatre Plus within college, using the college network, you will have access to the website without the need to log in. If you are accessing the resource while outside of college click the ‘Sign in’ button and enter you college email address. You will then be redirected to a ‘shibboleth’ login page. Please enter your college email address and email password. |
National Theatre Collections
‘National Theatre Collections 1 and 2’ is made available via Drama Online. It provides access to 50 filmed performances, including comedies, 20th Century classics and modern plays, Shakespeare plays, literary adaptations and inspirations, Greek classics and world historical drama. |

The British Film Institute’s InView Archive | 11,000 archive films are available to watch free on BFI Player from the BFI, national and regional archives. This collection grows constantly as more material is digitised. |
