Accessing eResources

Use the sections below for links to journals, databases or eBooks related to your subject. The link to each resource also includes login information.

eResource Access Details
JSTOR
A digital library that gives you access to more than 10 million academic journal articles, books, and primary sources on a wide range of subjects.
Within college click on the title of the resource and it will open in a new tab.
For access outside of college click on the title of the resource and then click the link ‘Log in through your library’, which can be found at the top of the web page. In the box ‘Search by Institution Name’ type in ‘Aquinas’ and click the ‘Search’ button. In the list of institutions click the ‘Log in’ link next to ‘Aquinas Sixth Form College, UK’. Enter the login details you use when logging into the computers in college. Remember to add @aquinas.ac.uk to your username.
Science Reference Center
A great one-stop source of information on a range of science related subjects, including useful subjects such as applied science which includes the scientific elements of Psychology. Useful topics include dreaming, the mind and articles on the brain.

Issues Online
Issues Online is a reference source addressing contemporary social issues. Easy to use, it is a perfect starting point for any research.
Within college click on the title of the resource and it will open in a new tab.
For access outside of college the link will open in a new tab. Use the ‘Shibboleth’ login by clicking on ‘go to the login area’. Type ‘Aquinas College’ in the box ‘Type the name of your organisation’ and click ‘Continue’. Enter the login details you use when logging into the computers in college. Remember to add @aquinas.ac.uk to your username.
