In October in the UK we celebrate, and reflect on the contribution black African and Caribbean people have made to British culture and society as a whole. America celebrates Black History in February. We have an interesting selection of new titles on display in the Learning Centre.
Science displays
If science interests you we have some very cool titles available in the Learning Centre. Check out our ‘Very short introduction to’ series, which includes Black holes, Sound and Mountains to name a few. We are also displaying ‘Introducing graphic guides’ with titles on Darwin and Newton.
Wellcome Book Prize
The Wellcome Trust have an annual book prize for health and medicine in literature. We have a display of the winning titles on the second floor of the Learning centre.
Learner Voice 2019
Come on and have a look at the Learner Voice display, on the first floor corridor just next to the Learning Centre entrance. The display is showing the feedback from students using the Learning centre. We have data from our quick questionnaire, and feedback from students’ comments and recommendations.
