Yesterday we celebrated World Book Night by giving away copies of ‘Small Island’ by Andrea Levy. It was a great success and the books were all gone by lunch time! Anyone who wanted a book had to collect one out of the tent that took centre stage all day in the Learning Centre. Thanks to everyone that came and picked up a book and took part in the day. Particular thanks to Maths teacher Alice Bell who chose ‘Small Island’ as her book to hand out.
