This week, members of the Learning Centre team had the opportunity to go and watch the college production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Here’s a review from our library assistant Julie Garner with her thoughts on the show…
“I thoroughly enjoyed the student’s performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The standard of acting was very high and in my opinion, on par with professional performances I have seen at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre. I was impressed by the whole production; costume, lighting, music and sound effects. The student playing ‘Bottom’ was hilarious and I think we will hear more of him if he decides to pursue an acting career after Aquinas.”
