Why is it so important that we remember the millions of lives that were lost during the Holocaust, and genocides in Rwanda, Bosnia, Cambodia and Darfur? The reason we believe is that it is vital to fight against racism, prejudice, and all forms of discrimination; because they can become a breeding ground for such crimes against humanity. By remembering and empathising with the past, and challenging discrimination we can all work towards a better future.
