By David Sedaris
This is a short essay, only 17 pages, by American born humourist Sedaris. An engaging read for a lunch hour.

A young David promised himself that when he became a celebrated author that he would never ignore or show disinterest to his fans at his book signings. This was something that he had experienced once. He decided that he would always try to connect with his audience. This led to collecting many anecdotes, jokes, and insights, which he so wittily retells on his tours.
The book gives a flavour of his writing, his material often autobiographical and self-deprecating.
