Here is the latest review from our library assistant Julie Garner who has reviewed one of our new DVD releases.
“The Iron Lady is a film about a remarkable woman who, whether you like her or loathe her, succeeded in a male dominated society by becoming Prime Minister of Great Britain, (although out of touch and autocratic in her approach.)
Meryl Streep portrays a now old and vulnerable woman with mild dementia remembering glimpses of her life. Meryl Streep gives a very credible performance and Jim Broadbent is a delight as the old Denis Thatcher. I would recommend this film. ”
